Nominations are now open for the 2026 Forward Cody Board of Directors! Nominations will be accepted through December 11, 2025.
About Forward Cody:
Forward Cody is the community’s economic development non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening our local economy by supporting entrepreneurs, strengthening existing businesses, and attracting thoughtful investments. We collaborate with businesses across various industry sectors, promote thoughtful growth, and work to ensure our community remains vibrant, resilient, and future-focused while preserving the community’s values, heritage, and quality of life.
Board Member Role, Expectations & Commitment:
Forward Cody Board members play an essential leadership role in guiding the organization’s mission, strategy, and impact on the community. Elected members serve a two-year term and are expected to attend monthly board meetings and actively participate in the organization’s work.
In addition to monthly board meetings, each board member is encouraged to serve on at least one committee, which also meets once per month. Board members act as ambassadors for Forward Cody, contribute their expertise to key initiatives, and help cultivate partnerships that strengthen our community’s economic future.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible to run for the Board of Directors, the nominee must be a member of Forward Cody at the Supporter Level and contribute a minimum of $500 yearly to Forward Cody's non-profit organization.
